Youth Sports
Join our Youth Sports & score big!
The Youth Programs facility at Aviano Air Base offers various seasonal sports participation opportunities for children ages 5-14.
Throughout the year AYP Sports offers Baseball/Softball, Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football, and Summer Sports Camps.
They also participate in the ‘Start Smart’ program for baseball, soccer, basketball, and flag football. ‘Start Smart’ is a child/parent interaction program for 3-4 year olds and their parents/guardians.
Pick up a yearly Sports Calendar at the Youth Center or contact the Youth Sports office (DSN: 632.4784, Comm: 0434.30.4784) for more information.
All youth must have current immunizations with most recent FLU SHOT and a current physical within the last 12 months on file to register for Youth Sports.

Age Breakdown
Sports for youth ages 5 & up include Basketball, Baseball/Softball, Flag Football & Soccer.
‘Start Smart’ for 3-4-year-olds, offers instructional programs in Basketball, T-Ball, Football, and Soccer.
Sports teams for youth ages 11 & up have the opportunity to travel to play against teams from Vicenza & Camp Darby.
