ESM members present their CAC for validation, once validated, guests are authorized up to $10 for Breakfast and up to $16 each for Lunch, Dinner, and Late Night meals per day at the below participating facilities. Please check participating facility hours. ESM program remains in place at Sultan’s Inn and Patriot Cafe, debit/credit cards will now be accepted at both DFACs. Can permanently assigned SSgts - CMSgts who would be willing to give up their BAS benefits be considered ESM and placed on "meal-card"?
Yes, if they are Permanent Party Air Force personnel in government quarters and williing to give up their BAS, their commander can place them on ESM.
Can alcohol be purchased with the ESM?
No, alcohol is not an authorized purchase.
Can deployed members utilize CDS?
Unfortunately no. Maybe in the future.
What happens if we exceed our allowance?
The individual will be responsible for paying the unpaid/remaining balance of their meal.
