Education Office
The Air Force Education Office oversees the AF Voluntary Education Program, including but not limited to the Military Tuition Assistance processing, Community College of the Air Force advising services, GI Bill Education Benefits advising, Enlisted Commissioning programs, and the DoD SkillBridge program. We also provide official education level updates for enlisted service members administratively assigned to Fort Meade (Officer education level updates are handled by AFIT). We are available by appointment or walk-in during regular duty hours.

M-F 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, excluding 70 ISRW Family Days or federal holidays, closed for in-house training every 4th Monday of each month 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Base Training Office
Base training serves as the OPR for the supervision of all training programs for Air Force and Space Force personnel assigned to Fort Meade, identifies, and coordinates training sources, and assists with developing training plans, schedules, documentation, and evaluation procedures to support unit operations and CFETP requirements. Base training provides guidance to Commanders and Unit Training Managers on CDC and AFSC related matters, assists in identifying annual training requirements, and conducts Staff Assistance Visits.

Formal Training Manager
Formal Training is the OPR for all TDY-to-school matters, processing orders and training allocations for all military and civilian personnel, coordinating and approval of all civilian training requirements, functioning as the primary POC for all PME for officers and enlisted members, and updating training certificates for civilian and military members.
