Sweeten your day! Today you will travel to one of Germany’s oldest and most beautiful cities. The first stop will be at the Haribo Factory where you can purchase delicious Haribo candy. They have a candy-bar where you can mix your own candy and choose from classics, new hits and Haribo candy from different countries.
Thereafter we will head towards the Chocolate Museum, which was founded in 1839. There you can learn about the history and the process of making chocolate. Watch the procedures from the beginning of the planted cocoa seed pod up to the different ingredients used to make this irresistible chocolate.
Aside from the chocolate history, you can also purchase some nice sweet gifts.
Afterward you have free time in Cologne. You can walk along the river to the famous Kölner Dom (cathedral). The Kölner Dom is one of the most extraordinary and most famous churches in Germany, ranking as one of the most magnificent and well known churches of Christianity. From the dom leads also one of the two famous shopping streets (Hohe Strasse) which will lead eventually into the street (Schildergasse) which is also a shopping street that ends at Neumarkt, where you find a small indoor mall (Neumarkt Galerie).
