Introduction
Joint Base Andrews’ Youth Programs offer a well-rounded and wide range of activities in sports, instructional classes, social programs, before and after school care, and summer day camp programs for youth and teens. The facility encompasses five classrooms, a S.T.E.A.M. COI (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math Center of Innovation), two computer labs, a dance studio, movie theater, concessions, table games, a dedicated space for teens, a lounge, indoor gymnasium and outdoor basketball court.
YOUTH PROGRAMS
The center is open to eligible youth year round, except for AFDW Family Days & Federal Holidays. The annual membership fee for open recreation is $120 (Jan-Dec) for youth/teens ages 6-18 years. Fee-based instructional classes include dance, taekwondo, gymnastics and piano. Team sports in basketball, softball, baseball, soccer, cheerleading and flag football are also offered for a fee based on age and member/non-member status.
We are affiliated with the Boys & Girls Club of America (BGCA) and 4-H, and offer a wide variety of their programs daily, weekly and monthly. Through these organizations and Air Force Youth Programs, we strive to make an impact by promoting youth development life skills, healthy lifestyles, academic success, good character and leadership. Parents are always encouraged to become involved in our program as volunteers to help us meet and exceed our goals.
All Youth Programs are drug, tobacco, and alcohol-free.

Families must be on the installation waiting lists through https://militarychildcare.com to qualify for fee assistance from CCA. Visit https://www.childcareaware.org/fee-assistancerespite/.
