Resource, Recovery, & Recycling Program (RRRP)

Services Recycling is part of the Air Force’s Resource, Recovery, & Recycling Program (RRRP). The key operation is located on main base, but materials are picked up all around base at every Services activity and in Arnold Village housing area collection point. They process paper, cardboard, aluminum cans, plastics 1 & 2, toner, cartridges, scrap wood, and metal. For more information, to request a bin or pick up, contact us.

Here at Arnold AFB, our vendor (Franklin County Solid Waste), only wants plastic liquid containers, such as plastic water and soda bottles constructed of the #1 and #2 types of plastics. This is an ever-evolving environment and the recycle landscape is always changing due to the customer and geographical needs in the area. As this landscape changes, we at the Recycle Center, will update the customers on recent trends and changes in the area.
