Educational Testing And Degree Programs

Our mission is to deliver world class voluntary education & training, counseling, career-advisement and testing services for Total Force Airmen, Sister Service Members, DoD Employees, Military Retirees, and Eligible Family Members. More importantly, we strive to maximize development opportunities to assist individuals in reaching their personal and professional goals. The Columbus Professional Development Center and the co-located Base Career Advisor, is equipped to assist with your educational aspirations and individual/specialized objectives. We encourage you to visit us at your earliest convenience to allow us to serve you. We have a student study area/lounge with available computers, classrooms/meeting areas, and testing support. Military Testing

Available Testing Days/Times:

Test Sessions Proctored in Room 14 (unless otherwise noted)

1st Wednesday of every month: AFOQT at 0800

1st Friday of every month: AFCT (ASVAB) at 0800

Monday (weekly): CDC, PME, DLPT at 0800 & 1300; TBAS at 0900

Thursday (weekly): FAA at 0900; AFRAT, CDC, PME at 1300; TBAS at 1400

    Briefing Schedule

    Tuesday (weekly): Tuition Assistance/Education Briefing at 0800; New Officer Accessions at 1000

    1st Tuesday of every month: Enlisted Commissioning Briefing at 1400

    1st Wednesday of every month: DoD SkillBridge Program at 1000

    2nd Wednesday & Thursday of every month: TAP – Higher Education Track from 0800-1530

    AF Cool Program

    Air Force COOL is a pathway for enlisted DAF members to earn industry recognized professional certifications, licenses to enhance their active-duty work, and to prepare them as they transition to the civilian job market. This popular program provides funding up to $4,500 per Airman over the course of their career. It covers exams, books, prep courses/boot camps, and recurring recertification. Applicants requests are prioritize as follows:

    1. Members within 90-150 days of separation or retirement
    2. Members who are pursing AFSC related credentials only (with no preparatory courses required)
    3. All other requests
