Outdoor Rec’s RV storage lot offers a safe and secure on-base location for your home-on-wheels. Park your RV for as long as you would like with 24-hour access to the lot.

Prices

Anything 25 FT or under = $35 a month
Anything over 25 FT = $45 a month

Park (Freedom, BLAZE and Sac Lake) are open sunrise to sunset. There is a $15 usage fee for 4 hours and a $25 usage fee for the entire day. Make reservations through Outdoor Rec.

One of Columbus AFB’s best attractions is the SAC Lake recreation area. Located at the west end of the SAC ramp (hence the name), this location includes all the amenities you need to have an enjoyable and relaxing time!

Amenities Include:

• Bathrooms
• Covered picnic areas
• Grills (by the water and the picnic areas)
• Fishing catch and release only (Do not eat the fish or drink the water)
• Various nature trails around the lake
• Camping area

We ask that you please be courteous of the environment and other persons. Please clean up after yourself and leave the area better than you found it!

The paintball course is located in a large, wooded field behind Outdoor Recreation. It is the perfect location for a weekend outing with friends, birthdays, bachelor parties, or squadron outings. Private games available. Walk-on play available during Outdoor Recreation normal hours of operation and a complete selection of paintball equipment available for rent.

• Box of 2000 Paintballs: $50,
• 10+ Players: $15 per person.

Whether you need to prep for your next PCS or just want to see how much you can fit in your vehicle, the Outdoor Recreation facility has what you need. The auto scale can be used while the Outdoor Rec facility is open; simply check with an employee and they will get you started! Each weigh-in is a $5.00 charge.

Items that are notated with an asterisk (*) can be reserved by paying a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total equipment price. These items can be reserved up to 30 days in advance at the ODR facility or by calling 434.2505. All unnotated equipment is rented on a first-come, first-serve basis.

All reservations must be cancelled 3 days before the reservation date. Weather is NOT a consideration in receiving a refund. If you check the equipment out and the weather is poor, ODR cannot give you a refund. Management may reschedule your reservation if conditions warrant.

Staff and patrons must inspect the equipment before leaving and list any discrepancies. We make every attempt to ensure that all equipment is clean and serviceable. Help prolong equipment life through proper care and use so others can enjoy it. If something is missing, not functioning properly, or if you need more information, let us know.

There will be a $100 service charge on any equipment that is brought back dirty. It will be inspected by an equipment rental employee at time of return. It is up to their discretion whether to charge this fee.

Our equipment is available to all active duty and retired military personnel and their family members 18 years of age or older, reservists, DOD employees, and contractors assigned to CAFB. Sponsor/parent authorizations are available for those between the ages of 16-18.

Refunds will be given for problems with the equipment only if the equipment is returned within two hours on a daily rental or 24 hours on a weekend rental. If using equipment during hours the facility is closed, the customer must call equipment rental and leave a message on the answering machine of the exact problem. The answering machine will record time and date of call to ensure compliance with the refund policy.
