Outdoor Recreation is here to provide you with many of the items you will need to take advantage of the local recreation areas. We offer a wide variety of quality outdoor equipment for camping, boating, fishing, sports, cooking, parties, and celebrations of any kind. We are also proud to offer a schedule of year-round adventure activities that are fun for friends and families!
Whether you’re looking for an organized rafting expedition through the Grand Canyon, a trip to the lake for kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, or a fun excursion to a cool local hiking spot, our experienced staff will be glad to assist you. We are here to make exploring Arizona easy, safe, and fun!

Outdoor Recreation offers a wide range of facilities, services, trips, and services, including a large equipment rental center offering everything from campers and camping equipment to bounce houses, kayaks, and much more.

Here at Outdoor Recreation, we are constantly curating a fun and exciting schedule of trips that provide you with the opportunity to explore Arizona like never before. From hiking up Mount Lemmon to rafting through the Grand Canyon, our trained staff is here to lead the way so you can enjoy the adventure with no stress. If you can’t find a friend to go with, don’t worry! Many participants sign up by themselves just to make sure they don’t miss out on the trip of a lifetime. All of our programs are suitable for beginners unless otherwise noted.

The Air Force Services Activity (AFSVA) has launched its new “Recharge for Resiliency” deployment support initiative that is also known as “R4R.” The R4R initiative is designed to provide support for US Airmen and families impacted by deployments.

The RecOn Initiative is an Outdoor Recreation program designed to address the challenges faced by deploying Airmen returning to home duty stations such as reintegration into regular social networks, family life, and local communities. The objective is to provide a wide range of outdoor adventure-based activities.
Open To Us Air Force Active Duty, Air Reserve Component Officer Or Enlisted Member Without A Spouse.
The main goal of the Single Airman Programming Initiative is to foster a strong culture, mission and sense of community for single Airmen in the US Air Force. Its objective is to improve technology and communication within FSS programs and activities, provide a wide variety of social and recreation opportunities through FSS recreational activities, and offer MWR life skills classes to create a Single Airman culture that supports the “whole person – healthy lifestyle.”
Eligible Family Members May Participate While The Member Is Gone And Upon Their Service Member's Return.
Allows all Air Force and Space Force assigned service members returning from deployments or dependent-restricted assignments and their family members to participate in FSS recreational activities. Eligible family members may participate while the member is gone and upon their service member’s return. Members who have deployed in support of an active operation and are on a dependent-restricted assignment, and their dependents, are eligible for this initiative. The deployed service member and their family are eligible upon receiving official orders during the deployment and up to 1 year after the service member returns to the home station.
