Personal Financial Readiness
Personal Financial Readiness is a free service offered base-wide by the Military & Family Readiness Center. It is designed to help both single airmen and military families successfully manage their personal finances by providing educational programs and personal assistance when needed.
PFR offers several classes on a recurring basis. They are also available for one-on-one financial counseling sessions. These services provide informational resources on a variety of financial topics, including understanding your LES, purchasing a home, investing, Thrift Savings Plan, consumer protection, credit issues, money management, and debt relief.

Bundles for Babies
Take advantage of this opportunity to learn about budgeting for baby, parenting skills, meet other expectant parents, and ready yourself for the excitement and wonders of parenthood! Active duty, Guard, and Reserve on Title 10 orders and their spouses are invited to attend and will receive a $50 AAFES gift card from the Air Force Aid Society.
Credit & Debt Mgmt
Understand the pros and cons of having credit. We’ll discuss building credit and look at some of the myths about establishing and using credit wisely. Credit reports, credit scores, and identity theft will be covered.
Marriage Preparation
Are you engaged or newly married? Learn financial tips for beginning marriage with a solid financial foundation.
Home-buying
We bring the experts to you! Learn from financial counselors, mortgage lenders, appraisers, VA reps, and home inspectors. This is one of your biggest purchases, get it done right!
Investing 101
A foundational class for the beginning investor. This seminar discusses the basics of investing. What is stock? What is a bond? How does a mutual fund work? What is risk? Learn about all of these things and more!
Car-Buying
Are you preparing to buy a new or used vehicle? Learn the ins and outs of researching, shopping, financing/purchasing and insuring a vehicle.
Dorm Budgets
This is a mandatory class for dorm residents planning to move off base. Bring your dorm out-processing checklist, latest monthly LES, and a list of monthly bills/expenditures. Set yourself up for success by planning for this exciting move!
