Eglin Outdoor Recreation hosts salt water charter fishing excursions from Ben’s Lake Marina, offering anglers of all skill levels an exciting open-water adventure that is both challenging and rewarding! Experience some of the Emerald Coast’s best fishing spots with a licensed and knowledgeable crew who are happy to offer their friendly assistance in properly rigging your rod and reel, baiting your hook, and removing your catch from the line. Upon return, display your fish for a photo session before the crew cleans, filets, ices and bags your catch for you to take home.

All trips depart Ben’s Lake at and are scheduled to last either 6 or 8 hours. Cost is $235 per person. R4R* pricing for eligible personnel is only $50 per person. Cost includes permits, licenses, tackle, bait, lures, bottled water, professional instruction, and all safety gear. Payment is due at the time of sign-up and is nonrefundable.

Reservations can be made in-person only at Ben’s Lake Marina. Multiple-seat bookings are possible. Payment for all seats must be made at time of booking or will nopt be reserved. No reservations will be changed, cancelled, or refunded within 72 hours of trip event. There are no exceptions to these payment policies.

Maximum participants per charter is 6 people on a first come, first served basis. Individuals are limited to one charter per quarter. A waiting list is available. Pick-up and drop-off for every trip is at Ben’s Lake Marina — no exceptions.

*R4R (Recharge for Resiliency) eligibility is exclusive to U.S. Active Duty & Reserve personnel assigned to Eglin and their family members. R4R is the capstone for resiliency programming across the Air Force and Space Force. R4R provides resources that foster unit cohesion, culture, mission, and a sense of community among Airmen/Guardians and their families.
