Eglin’s Outdoor Recreation program offers year-round outdoor fun and adventure in beautiful Northwest Florida. Facilities include the main Outdoor Recreation Center at Postl Point, Ben’s Lake Marina, the base Pool, the Eglin Beach Park on Okaloosa Island, two Family Campgrounds, and RV Storage Lots.

The Outdoor Rec Center at Postl Point is the hub for all your outdoor programs. Nature outings and overnight adventure trips are scheduled all throughout the year, with opportunities for mountain biking, rock climbing, zip-lining, swimming with manatees, hiking, bouldering, deep sea fishing, and even skydiving!

Back on location here at Eglin, outdoor activities such as paddleboarding, kayaking, disc golf, archery, and paintballing are all facilitated for your enjoyment. Beginner’s clinics for most activities are available to those who are looking to try something new.

Outdoor Recreation’s rental operation houses a massive inventory of everything you need to enjoy the great outdoors. The ODR team provides Bennington pontoon boats, Robalo center-console boats for fishing, cargo trailers, utility trailers, towable grills and smokers, paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, pavilions, tables, chairs, camping equipment, key logs, cornhole boards, ice chests, water coolers, bounce houses and a large variety of games for your next event.
