Fire Up the Pit!
Close out the summer season in style with an epic backyard party presented by FSS and Design Alaska. Hang out with friends, family, and your favorite canine while listening to live, local music. Enjoy a special appearance and seminar by BBQ Pitmaster Moe Cason who will be cooking up his prized delectable BBQ, available for prepurchase. A tempting array of local craft beers will be available for purchase.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Prepare to be entertained with a captivating car show, keep the little ones thrilled in the Kids Zone, and explore a variety of food, vendor, and sponsor booths lining Wabash Ave. behind the Yukon Club.
Don’t forget to grab your favorite lawn chair and snag a prime spot in front of the stage to soak up the music and atmosphere. And yes, your well-behaved, leashed furry pals are more than welcome to join in on the festivities! We’ve even set up a fenced dog area and cooling dog pools to keep them happy and hydrated throughout the afternoon.

As you embark on this exhilarating journey, stay on the designated route and remember to dress appropriately for the occasion. Don’t forget to keep your furry companions leashed for their safety and the enjoyment of all participants. And be sure to stay hydrated along the way! But the adventure doesn’t end with the finish line – it’s just beginning! After completing the 5K, bring your K9 companion to Barks, Brews, & BBQ for the ultimate celebration.
