What is Unite?
The UNITE Program was developed to provide squadron leaders with the maximum flexibility to deliver programs that build cohesion for personnel within their unit. UNITE events focus on units rather than individuals with an emphasis on team building. Events are open to all Airmen including Active Duty, Reserve, and APF and NAF Civilians. It is up to your unit to determine what type of event will most benefit your squadron. Establish Your Unit POC
Plan Your Event: Four Easy Steps
- Complete the POC Appointment Letter
Squadron Commanders will appoint a squadron UNITE POC, in writing, to the Goodfellow’s Community Cohesion Coordinator (C3). The POC appointment letter form is available here. Once complete, email the form to Barbara.McConnell@us.af.mil. - Event Proposal
Complete the Event Proposal form and Fund Request form. Meet with your installation C3 to discuss your objectives, event ideas, and to complete the ” Event Proposal Form”. AFSVA event approval may take up to 30-days. Download Event Proposal Form here. - Event is Paid with C3 Credit Card or TBCC
Confirm event date, time and location and provide final attendee count with DoD ID numbers no later than 72 hours prior for on base events. Off base events may vary by contractor. - Submit After Action Information & Photos
Provide C3 with After Action Report within two business day after every event. The installation C3 will not always be in attendance at your UNITE events, so we are relying on you to provide detailed after-action information and photos to improve the program. Find After Action Report form here.

Arts & Crafts
- Ceramics Painting Party: Pick from any of our 2000 molds and let your artistic side shine. *$13.50/pp: 1-10 participants

Outdoor Recreation/Rec Camp/Equipment Rental
Go out to the Goodfellow Recreation camp at Lake Nasworthy, click here for pricing. The Rec Camp amenities include a playground, sand volleyball, pool during the summer months and boat, cabin, kayak and paddle board rentals. Event Center
Reserve the Event Center Ballroom, Texas Star Room or game room for board games, video games and billiards. You can bring outside food. *Covid Restrictions Apply.
San Angelo State Park
San Angelo State Park is on 7,788 acres on O.C. Fisher Lake with over 50 miles of some of the best trails in the area a home to a bison herd and the Texas State Longhorn herd. While at SA State Park you can hike, fish from the banks, kayak (provide your own), picnic and experience the wildlife close up with a guided tour through the bison and long horn paddocks.
Angelo Axe House
What’s better than putting your friends in a cage and giving them axes? Nothing! It’s perfect! At Angelo Axe House a dedicated coach will teach you and your team the art of properly and safely throwing an axe and then will have you compete in ultimate elimination tournaments. Strength, brains, and fancy degrees are all left on the sidelines when each member steps into the arena. Axe Throwing can be done by anyone of any size, thus an equal playing field for everyone in your team is created where a true exhibition in adaptability, quick learning, and ample amounts of confidence. Cost is $13.50pp for groups of 60+, $15.50 pp all other groups.
Ultimate Air San Angelo
Bring your team in for anything from free style jumping, to slam dunk contests, ultimate dodge ball or try some new tricks in the foam pits. This outing will be sure to have everyone jumping for joy.
Sports Next Level
This is a one-stop fun shop, offering batting cages, indoor soccer, indoor/outdoor volleyball, corn hole, washers, indoor basketball, mini golf, driving range & more. Food & large group packages are available.
Icon Entertainment
