Recharge For Resiliency (R4R)

*Air Force and Space Force Active Duty, Reserve, and Guard personnel and their family members.

This program provides resources for outdoor-centric, high adrenaline, post deployment stress reduction, only available through FSS Outdoor Recreation Centers. This program offers free or heavily discounted events to active duty members stationed here at Hill and their dependents are eligible. Examples of RecOn events in the past have been White Water Rafting, Skydiving, Rock Climbing, and more!

*FULL* Attendees will have an instruction briefing, 20 min scenic plane ride, 60 sec tandem free fall, 7 min parachute ride, and 1st jump certificate. Adventure will take place in Ogden, UT.

Trip includes transportation, instructor, and skydive adventure.

Attendees will have 3 hours to experience unlimited use of alpine slide, extreme tubing, extreme zip lining, freestyle jump, discovery course, canyon course, summit course, drop tower, airbag jumps, and scenic chairlifts.

*FULL* Attendees will raft the weber river with an experienced guide. While rafting the river attendees can take in the scenic views, potential wildlife, and some mild rapids. Rafting will take 2-2.5 hours.

Participants will experience a 3-day, 2-night white water rafting trip on the Snake River with Weber State University. Mandatory pre-trip meeting on Zoom.

Participants will see the pristine 22,000 acres of the Wasatch Mountain state park while riding in a 4 person UTV. The 2 hour ride is full of thrills & beautiful views. A safety briefing will be provided before the trip. All skill levels are welcome to participate.

Participants will experience the fun and views after a off road ride to the top of the mountain for your first zip line of 3900 ft across Deer Creek reservoir. Continue with 4 more ziplines, 5 spiral staircase & an aerial bridge.

This program is for the family of a deployed service member. The deployed service member and their families may also attend the event up to a year after their return! This program offers heavily discounted events to those affected by deployment.
