The "C3"

Community Cohesion Coordinator

Shannon Hebert is the C3 for the 628th Force Support Squadron and serves as the focal point for planning, development, and execution of the Unite Program.

She can confirm unit funding allocation, make payments on your behalf, and assist Squadron Unite points of contact to develop program events, based on a menu of innovative program options.

Ms. Hebert will assist and advise squadron Unite points of contact (POC) to develop programs for their squadrons, but will not be responsible for the direct execution of the squadron’s event. The squadron POC will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the unit cohesion activity/event.

Why Unite?

We are the 628 FSS Unite program. Our goals are to support SQ leaders, maximize the use of FSS facilities, measure impact, and provide maximum flexibility to SQ commanders. You use this program for any of the following reasons:

  • Develop a new skill or competency
  • Improve physical fitness
  • Increase esprit de corps, comradery, or moral
  • Promote interaction between unit members
  • Provide an opportunity for fun or relaxation
  • Reinforce peer, squadron, or AF corps values
  • Work on team-building exercise

Program Development

Unite events are classified into three different categories:

Virtual:
Virtual 5Ks, Escape Rooms, etc. or visit teambuilding.com for more information

Unit Developed Program (UDP):
UDPs capitalize on opportunities in the local area and require prior approval from the AFSVA.

Volunteer/Free:
Charitable work provides a cost-effective team building activity that allows co-workers to see each other in a new light and can make a significant impact in your community. Free events do not need approval, but we still need to capture the information.

Service, Teamwork, Attitude, Responsiveness, and Sacrifice – All STARS!
