Family Child Care

The Family Child Care (FCC) program provides in-home care for children from 2 weeks to 12 years old, available both on military installations and in civilian communities. FCC offers flexible childcare options for families needing care during weekends, evenings, swing shifts, midnight shifts, or for children with special needs. The program features smaller group sizes and mixed-age settings compared to traditional centers. We also offer family members the opportunity to become approved FCC providers.

Family Child Care (FCC) is an in-home child care program that is part of 61st Force Support Squadron, Military & Family Member Programs Flight. FCC providers receive initial, monthly and annual training in development appropriate practice, safety, CPR/first aid, food handling, nutrition, child abuse prevention and other various career related topics as part of the California State and Air Force licensing requirements. Each FCC provider establishes her/his own contract, hours of operation and fees.
