Outdoor Recreation is your one-stop center for year-round Southern California outdoor fun and adventure. Our experienced staff is devoted to bringing you exciting recreation opportunities, a wide variety of equipment rentals, guided adventures and discount tickets to area attractions.

We provide expertly managed recreational activities and outings, as well as professionally-trained and knowledgeable recreation staff. We’ve got information, equipment and access you need to get outdoors and enjoy your local natural resources.
Outdoor Adventures
Get out of the city and join us on our next adventure! No previous experience is needed for most of our guided trips.Transportation and equipment rentals are included on most of our trips. Activities include:
Equipment Rentals
A wide variety of quality outdoor equipment for camping, kayaking, surfing, snowboarding, field sports, cooking, parties, and celebrations of any kind. Throw a party your friends and family will remember with barbecue supplies, tables, chairs, and bounce houses.
Fort Mac Picnic Area Reservations
Located at the Fort MacArthur swimming pool, adjacent to the Community Center, this space can accommodate up to 100-people! Amenities include access to the swimming pool (during regularly scheduled hours), pavilion with picnic table seating for up to 100, playground, horseshoes, multiple small grills and large pit-grill, bathroom facilities and plenty of open space.
Reservations may be made up to 60-days in advance.
