Military Personnel Flight
The Military Personnel Flight (MPF) provides essential administrative support and guidance to military personnel across Laughlin Air Force Base. As subject-matter experts, we offer assistance with a wide range of military programs and processes. In addition, military members also have access to their unit’s Commander’s Support Staff (CSS) to assist with military personnel functions. Our mission is to ensure that every service member receives the support they need to excel in their duties and advance in their careers.

DEERs Enrollment
Family Status Update (Marriage, divorce, widowed, birth, adoption)
The Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) database contains information for each Uniformed Service member (Active Duty, retired, or a member of a Reserve Component), US-sponsored foreign military, DoD and Uniformed Services civilians, other personnel as directed by the DoD (including the patient population serviced through the Military Health Services System), and their eligible family members. DEERS registration is required for TRICARE eligibility and enrollment. Incorrect information in the DEERS database can cause problems with TRICARE claims as well as other health care benefits, so it is critical to maintain your DEERS information.
Required Forms of ID
Sponsor must be present or spouse must have a valid Power of Attorney.
Proper identification is required for all transactions. To be issued any ID card, 2 forms of unexpired identification are required for adults, one of which must be a current photo ID. CHILDREN under 18 years of age, only one form of ID is needed. Notarized English translation must accompany foreign documents. We are unable to take the following identifications: SOFA License/Line Badge/Base Pass.
