Southwinds Marina
Southwinds Marina is the ultimate destination for all your water activity needs. Our marina features a range of amenities and services, including cabin rentals, campsites, and water activities for visitors of all ages. Whether you want to spend the day on the water or relax in a cozy cabin by the lake, we have something for everyone. Our boat slip rental and boat towing services ensure that your watercraft stays safe and secure when not in use, and our dry storage rental provides a convenient option for those who prefer to keep their boats on land. Equipment rentals are also available for kayaks, paddle boards, motorboats, and canoes so you can enjoy a fun day out on the water with family and friends. Picnic Areas
Southwinds Marina features a large picnic area and shelter available for group and squadron activities. This area has several charcoal barbecue grills and picnic tables. Reservations for these areas can be made by calling the marina staff. There are also four of smaller picnic/tent sites which require no reservations.
Southwinds Clubhouse
A snack bar is provided for patron convenience offering a variety of packaged snacks, ice cream, soft drinks and adult beverages. The snack bar also features a small air-conditioned lounge space with WiFi, couches, and a TV.
Fuel Station
Southwind Marina proudly stands as the only fuel station on Lake Amistad. Fuel prices are subject to fluctuations influenced by the prevailing market rates. For the most up-to-date information regarding fuel prices, we encourage you to reach out to our knowledgeable marina staff, who will be pleased to provide you with the current pricing details. Our dedicated team is committed to serving your needs efficiently and ensuring your boating experience is exceptional.

General Reservation Information
Fishing
Lake Amistad has a variety of fish: Trout, bass, catfish and crappie. A Texas State fishing license is required (available at AAFES customer Service Counter). We permit fishing from a boat or fishing dock only.
Swimming
Swimming at Southwinds Marina is prohibited and carries inherent risks as there is no designated swimming area.
