FamCamp
The FamCamp operates year-round, with 359 full-service sites, complete with electricity, water, waste disposal, cable TV and optional telephone service. There are 41 dry camp sites. The area also includes 21 partial hook-up spots, complete with water and electric, and a tent camping area.

Outdoor Recreation & FamCamp Needs Volunteers!
Volunteer Opportunities Include: trip drivers, dinner trip drivers, sewing leads, bingo caller, office assistant, set-up & tear-down for upcoming events, and volunteers to dress up & hand out candy!
Anyone can volunteer, but there maybe certain restrictions based on the activity.

Required Documents
You must have the following documents in order to procure a site:
- Insurance
- Registration (Recreational Vehicle must be listed on the registration)
- Pet Shot Records (maximum 2 pets allowed) The following dog breeds are prohibited on MAFB: Akita, Chow Chow, Doberman, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, American Staffordshire Terrier, English Staffordshire Bull Terrier, wolf hybrids of any kind, and any other dog breed with dominant traits geared toward aggression. Firearm Notice
The possession of firearms, including BB and pellet weapons, is strictly controlled by the MacDill Security Forces Squadron. Eligible visitors or guests of such visitors staying in the campgrounds who have firearms in their possession must contact the 6th Security Forces Law Enforcement Desk, 813.828.3322, for guidance and control of such firearms. Firearm registration forms are available at the FamCamp office. A copy of the completed registration form will be placed in the visitors registration file maintained by the FamCamp office staff, along with ah copy forwarded to the 6th SFS representative.
