Located on the continental divide just 66 miles away from Great Falls, this trail offers plenty of opportunity to get above the tree line and see for miles and miles. Starting off on Highway 200 traveling north we will gain 800 feet in just over a mile before leveling out on the ridgeline. Once on the ridgeline, we will be greeted with mountain flowers, wildlife, and vast open views of the plains below and the Rocky Mountain Front to the north.
The Continental divide makes its way all the way to Canada, but we will follow the trail to Red Mountain before making our way back to the van.
