Mid-Bay Shores

Travel to Niceville, Florida and stay in one of our fully furnished bungalows or bring your own RV to our hook up spots! We’ve got beautiful white sandy shores with easy access to Destin’s shopping centers, dining, and family entertainment. Only military personnel are permitted to stay, including Active duty, Retired, Reservists, DOD, Retired DOD and DOD Contractors.

*RV Water & Electric and No Hook-UP 2 week maximum stay

*Maximum is a 7 night stay.

Mid-Bay Shores Recreation Area, operated by Maxwell Air Force Base Installation Commander or their representative, is solely for use and occupation by active and retired military personnel, DoD Civilians, and their families. Overnight Camp Site/Recreation Lodging use shall be limited to a total of thirty (30) days per occupant annually. Homesteading by patrons, will not be tolerated. Individuals who are found in violation of this policy will be removed from the recreation grounds immediately.

*PLEASE NOTE Active Duty members, who are on orders for training or school, must provide the respective orders at time of reservation, for all extended stays.

There is a $15 fee for all reservations canceled within seven days from the scheduled check-in date. Cancellations within 2 days of check-in will result in a non-refundable one night stay rent. Any patron paying the monthly rate who leaves earlier in the month will be converted from the monthly rate to either weekly or daily rate and will be issued a refund based on the difference. All refunds will be issued in the same manner as purchased, i.e. reservations made at Maxwell AFB will call the reservation line for a refund.

• Guests are expected to furnish their own towels, bedding (sheets and blankets) and toiletries.
• Rentals are furnished with minimal cleaning supplies, starter trash bags, and a roll of toilet paper.
• Weekly and monthly fees for bungalows, trailers, and RV’s during winter months only.
