We have 1 indoor and 2 outdoor pools. The JB McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Outdoor Pool is a great place to take the kids and unwind during the summer months!
Make A Splash with a Cool Pool Pass!
Passes for recreational swimming sessions are now available! Valid from May 24 through September 2, 2024 Passes are valid at JBMDL Dix & Lakehurst. The pass is for ages 6 & up. Ages 4 & 5, $2 a visit. Ages 3 and under, Free.

Indoor Pool Update
Last April 2023, the FSS Indoor Pool suffered catastrophic electrical failure which nearly resulted in a fire. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. However, this has turned into a large-scale project that required the relocation and replacement of the entire electrical system at the facility.
Due to unforeseen circumstances with the availability of materials, placing the proper electrical panel has been a challenge. Project completion is estimated for late June (not a firm timeline) for a safe re-opening.
Pool Party
FSS Indoor Pool at JB MDL Dix or Pine Ridge Outdoor Pool at JB MDL Lakehurst can be reserved for your party! To make a reservation, please call 87FSS Aquatics at 609.562.2808.
Party time is 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM during scheduled operational hours. You may come in between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM to set up for your event.
Party Group Rates:
Up to 15 people: $55
16 – 20 people: $70
21 – 25 people: $85
26 – 30 people: $100
31 – 35 people: $115
36 – 40 people: $130
Pool Rules - we take water safety seriously!
Pool Policies
- DOD ID Holders: No children under 13 are allowed to stay unless accompanied by an adult
- General Public: No children under 18 are allowed to stay unless accompanied by an adult
- Parents are responsible for watching their childrenIf the pool closes for any reason, patrons at the pool for less than 2 hours will receive a freeadmission coupon. POOL CLOSES FOR THUNDERSTORMS
- No refunds
- No animals in pool facilities with the exception of guide dogs
- No chewing gum
- No glass containers
- No drugs or alcoholic beverages
- Restrooms are for pool patrons only S
- moking is only permitted 50 feet away from the front of the building
- No smoking in the backyard area
General Swimming Pool Rules
- NO running in the pool facility
- NO horseplay: This includes dunking, wrestling, and chicken fights (people on shoulders)
- NO Extended breath-holding or prolonged underwater swimming
- NO diving or jumping into the small pool or shallow end of a large pool
- If a whistle is heard, stop everything and look at the lifeguard for instructions
- Three (3) loud blasts of a whistle signals swimmers to exit the pool immediately
- Kickboards are NOT allowed for use during recreational swim
- Floatation Devices: Only Coast Guard-approved life jackets and water wings are permitted
- NO floatation devices are allowed in the large pool when the small pool is open
- Children requiring the assistance of a floatation device MUST BE accompanied by an adult IN THE WATER at all times
Slide Rules
- MUST BE 48” TALL TO RIDE THE SLIDE
- 1 person at a time on the slide/diving board: person in line waits at the bottom of the stairs
- No lifejackets, masks, goggles, or water wings on the slide or diving board
- Must lay on back, feet first, arms and legs crossed on slide
- Patron not allowed to wait at the end of slide/diving board in water for another person
Swimming Attire and Infant Rules
- Bathing Suits ONLY: NO T-shirts, cut-off shorts, or sweatpant shorts allowed
- Infants: NO disposable diapers. Infants MUST WEAR either a swim diaper, cloth diaper covered with plastic or rubber bands, and a bathing suit – NO EXCEPTIONS!
