Hey JBMDL! This year’s Summer Fest LUAU is quickly approaching so be sure to save the date for what is sure to be a blast. On Friday, June 28th, join 87FSS at the Multi-Purpose Fields by Fitness Center McGuire for fireworks, food, live music, and games! Featuring food trucks on-site to purchase food/soft drinks, free interactive games, bounce houses, axe-throwing trailer, fire breathers and hula dancers, and live music with THE NERDS performing! Fireworks are scheduled for 8:30pm.

But wait – there’s more! 87FSS Military & Family Readiness Center will also be hosting their “Hellooo, Summer” Hearts Apart event at the Summer Fest Luau! MFRC is thrilled to welcome the summer season. This section is open to currently deployed, TDY 30+ or more & remote tour spouses and their families (all branches). From 5:30pm-7:30pm, Join MFRC for crafts, outdoor games, and a cookout! If you’ve never been to a Hearts Apart event or have been on the fence about checking it out, this one is a great way to experience the amazing support provided by MFRC and other families.
