Airman Leadership School

The SMSgt David B. Reid Airman Leadership School prepares Senior Airman for supervisory roles and responsibilities in the world’s best aerospace fighting force. The 192 hour course is completed over 24 academic days and divided into four outcomes that support the course objective: Leadership, Air Force Culture, Mission, and Problem Solving.

Airman Leadership School (ALS)

Mission: Prepare Airmen to be professional, warfighting Airmen who can supervise and lead Air Force work teams to support the employment of air, space and cyberspace power.

ALS trains an average of 460 students per year from Shaw, Ft. Gordon, Ft. Stewart, McEntire ANG Base, and other various bases.
