The Civilian Personnel Section oversees the daily operation of servicing over 780 appropriated fund employees on Tyndall AFB. The CPS provides advisory services on the full range of human resource management functions, to include Staffing, Employee Relations, and Labor Relations.

Some specific topics include: filling of positions, workforce management, disciplinary/adverse actions, performance management, resource management, collective bargaining, and leave. This office also provides advisory services on a full range of HR topics such as recruitment resources, basic classification, in-processing actions, and overview of benefits (retirement, health/life insurance).
