Active/Reserve/Retired Military/Dependent ID card holders/DoD Civilian Employees/and retired DoD Civilians. VA card holders and their caregiver with proper documentation. VA CARD HOLDERS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS ARE NOT ABLE TO SPONSOR ANY ADDITIONAL PATRONS FOR DAY OR OVERNIGHT USE.

Most day use does not require a reservation. However, day use groups over 10 people require a reservation.

RESERVATIONS CAN BE MADE 90 DAYS IN ADVANCE FOR ALL ACTIVE DUTY MEMBERS, 60 DAYS IN ADVANCE FOR RESERVE/RETIRED MILITARY/DEPENDENT ID CARD HOLDERS/DOD CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES, RETIRED DOD CIVILIANS, VHIC, AND AOG CARD HOLDERS THAT HAVE SERVICE CONNECTED DISABILITIES.

This includes lodging facilities, RV spaces, pavilions, camper cabins, and campgrounds. Reservations can also be made on-site if space is available. Two night minimum for indoor lodging stays. Patrons will be charged full amount for the reservation at the same time the reservation is being booked. When reservations are being made for a Friday, Saturday, or Holiday, only one eligible patron per family can book a maximum of two units or sites for said time.

Year in Advance Policy: Reservations can be made up to a year in advance. No year in advance reservations are permitted on weekends, holidays. An additional 20% year in advance fee is added to all year in advance contracts; contracts will be sent to the individual that made the reservation with dates and total cost. The contract will need to be signed and sent back to Farish within 3 weeks or the reservation will be cancelled.

The entirety of the cost for the reservation will be charged to the patrons account after Farish has received the signed contract. If the reservation is canceled after contract is signed and sent back, a 25% cancellation fee will be assessed. If the reservation cannot be re-booked the patron is charged the full amount. Exceptions to this policy are stated below. Refunds will not be given due to weather, fire restrictions, power outages, insects or other acts of nature.

Pets are not permitted in the Lodge, Cottage, or Duplexes A,B,E,F.  A maximum of two pets are allowed in Duplex C or D with a $25 per night pet fee. Maximum of 2 pets. Pets are allowed on property but must be leashed and under owners control at all times, owners must pick up after pets.

No sewage dump station or water hookups are available on site. Potable water is available to fill 5 gallon jugs at the shower house and at the office.

Entrance fee of $10 per vehicle for day-use patrons.

A USAFA fishing permit is required for anglers 16 years and older which can be purchased online at https://usafa.isportsman.net or at Farish. Anglers desiring to use two fishing poles must also purchase a USAFA second rod permit. A Colorado fishing license and second rod stamp is not required.

Personal watercraft is NOT allowed at Farish. Rentals available for $10 per hour. No swimming allowed.

There will be a 20% ($5 minimum) cancellation fee for ALL reservations. The remaining balance will be refunded if the reservation is cancelled or changed 15 days or more prior to check-in date. 

If the reservation is cancelled within the two weeks leading up to the check-in date, a refund of the remaining balance will only be refunded if the reservation is re-booked by someone else. If the reservation is unable to be re-booked the patron is still charged the full amount.

Exceptions to this policy are as follows:

• Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders are received as a result of an administrative discharge but not a sentence of confinement in a court-martial, and the renter must depart before the season is over.
• Temporary Duty (TDY) orders for a consecutive 30-day period.
• Medical reason, statement is provided from qualified medical facility.
• Closures of roads due to inclement weather inhibiting access to the facility.

A wide range of support facilities are available at USAF Academy, Peterson AFB, and Fort Carson. Facilities available at Farish: Bath House, Convenience Store, Equipment Rental, Fire Rings, Grills, Ice, Pavilions (Fee), Picnic Areas and Trails.
