Gateway Dining Facility
Established in 1939, RAF Mildenhall’s Gateway Dining Facility reflects an unmistakable old-world charm. But the menus have come a long way since the facility housed the “Airman’s Mess.” Our facility participates in the Go-For-Green initiative and offers a full dining experience providing healthy and nutritious selections, along with traditional snack line menu options. Additionally, our Flight Kitchen offers quick service hot & cold meals to support shift-working base personnel.
Flight Meals
Our easy-to-use order form allows you to conveniently order delicious meals for your upcoming flights. Simply select your desired dishes, specify any dietary preferences, and submit your order. Our dedicated staff will ensure your meals are prepared fresh and ready for you to pick up.
Grab & Go: This is an alternative service to pre-ordering which is available 24/7. Just stop by and pick from a selection of sandwiches, beverages, snacks, and reheatable meals.

Accepted Payments
The Dining Facility accepts contactless payments, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and ESM cards (meal card holders). We do not accept cash or checks.

Go for Green
Go-for-Green is an Air Force initiative that encourages healthy food choices. In recognition of the old adage, “You are what you eat”, Go-for-Green is a nutritional recognition labeling system designed to help personnel gain a quick understanding of the nutritional value of choices available at each of the food stations provided. The labeling system is color-coded to red, yellow, and green to distinguish the level of food choices.

Flight Kitchen
RAF MILDENHALL • BLDG 436 The Flight
Kitchen is operated by RAF Mildenhall’s Gateway Dining Facility and is conveniently located in the same building as the Dining Facility. Stop by for a quick takeaway meal and choose from our ready-made meals or order ahead of time.
