24 hour access is available at both Potter Fitness Center and Freedom Fitness Center for ages 18+

Stop by Potter Fitness Center or Freedom Fitness Center during business hours to receive a 24 hour access card. There will be separate 24/7 access cards for each fitness center. CACs are not compatible with the Potter Fitness Center system, but can still be used for Freedom Fitness Center.

How To Sign Up

1. Legal guardian and dependent must come to the Potter Fitness Center front desk to sign a Statement of Understanding (SOU) and Waiver / Assumption of Risk Form

2. PFC staff will provide a green lanyard for the child to wear

3. Child must wear the lanyard at all times when visiting during authorized hours

Fitness On Request

Can’t make it to any of our group fitness classes? This kiosk-based video fitness tool allows groups or individuals to take instructor led fitness classes on demand. Fitness on Request includes 36 unique courses in seven genres varying from yoga-pilates and dance to total body conditioning and core training. Classes run 30-60 minutes.

2024 Intramural Sports

All sports are open to male & female participants and will be played under Men’s Governing Body Rules. Events held at the Gosser Golf Course and Walmsley Bowling Center will involve additional fees. All dates are subject to change due to military duty commitments and inclement weather.

Check in begins 15 minutes prior to testing start time. Arriving after designated start time results in a no show. Testers need to bring their CAC, FSQ and AF Form 4446. Please bring AF Form 469 if required.

Age Restrictions

Children Under 6 Years Old
Not permitted in Fitness and Sports Centers except as follows: Permitted in Fitness and Sports Center parent (legal guardian) and child areas for supervised play.
Permitted to be a participant (participating in age appropriate programming) or spectator in a sport or special event only.

Youth 6–12
Not permitted in cardiovascular, sauna, weight equipment rooms or group exercise rooms during scheduled adult exercise classes. Permitted in other activity areas (i.e., basketball court, racquetball courts, running track, locker room, parent and youth area) only under qualified adult interactive supervision. Interactive supervision requires qualified adult and child to participate in or perform activity together at all times.
Permitted to be a participant (participating in age appropriate programming) or spectator in a sport or special event only under qualified adult interactive supervision. For Fitness and Sports Center pools, use is permitted during instructional programs, or when under qualified adult interactive supervision.

Youth 13–15
Permitted in cardiovascular, weight equipment, group exercise rooms, locker rooms, saunas, etc., only under qualified adult interactive supervision. Interactive supervision requires qualified adult and child to participate in/perform activity together at all times. Permitted in other activity areas (i.e., basketball court, racquetball court, running track) only when a qualified adult is present in the facility at all times. Permitted to be a participant (participating in age appropriate programming) or spectator in a sport or special event when a qualified adult is present in the facility at all times. For Fitness and Sports Center pools, use is permitted during instructional programs or when a qualified adult is present in the facility at all times.

Youth 16 & Older
Permitted in all areas of the Fitness and Sports Center without a qualified adult.

Unsupervised children and their parents will be removed from the facility.

Parent And Toddler Room Guidelines

Parents or guardians must be present in the room at all times and must maintain a direct line of sight on their children.

• Parents are strictly prohibited from leaving their children with other parents.

• Maximum room capacity is seven adults and nine children.

• Incidents and injuries must be reported to the fitness center staff immediately.

• Users without kids must use other workout areas when a child is present.

• Children under age 6 are not authorized in other areas of the facility (weight room, cardio room, aerobics room, etc.) at any time.

Customer Attire Policy

  • Sports attire must be worn in all workout areas. Military utility uniforms are authorized to be worn during workouts and members may remove their utility uniform coat (shirt); however, t-shirts must be worn. Inappropriate attire, jeans, boots, slippers, or other footwear, or other footwear that will cause safety hazards to the user, others, or will cause damage to equipment, will be prohibited at the discretion of the fitness center staff.
  • Obscene / offensive language or graphics are prohibited.
  • Athletic attire and athletic shoes must be worn in all activity and equipment areas. Only court shoes with non-marking soles may be worn on hardwood floors; boots are not authorized on treadmills or hardwood floors.
  • Due to safety concerns (including an increased risk of dehydration and heat illness), garments made of plastic, rubber, nylon, etc. that are specifically designed to increase the amount of perspiration, are not authorized in any fitness facility, to include outdoor running tracks and fields.
  • Customers who are not wearing proper attire will be asked to change into appropriate exercise clothing or leave the facility.
