Pope Education and Training Center
The Pope Education Center provides educational opportunities and counseling services to active duty Air Force members assigned to Pope Army Airfield, DoD civilian employees, adult family members, and military retirees. We have two on-base colleges offering undergraduate, graduate and CLEP/DSST testing: (Fayetteville Technical Community College and Campbell University).
Military Testing Services
The Pope Education and Training Center also provides a wide variety of testing programs.
We have a testing center that offers military testing such as promotion (WAPS), end of course, PME, language (DLPT/DLAB), Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT), Electronic Data Processing Test (EDPT), Basic Aviation Skills (TBAS), and CLEP/DSST/Pearson Vue certification testing via National University National Test Center.
For a current list of college level exams offered on base and scheduling instructions, please visit the education office. We also assist with Tuition Assistance, Skill Bridge, AFCOOL (Professional Certifications), GI Bill Information, and Base and Formal Training.

GEM PLAN: GEM is a partnership between CCAF & partnering regionally accredited civilian schools to provide general education courses that meet CCAF requirements in an online format: anytime, anywhere availability.

Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC) directs Airmen with associate in applied science degrees from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) to a collection of accredited “military friendly” colleges and universities to consider when completing a four-year degree. The program maximizes the application of military career education and training and provides a multitude of online academic and support services for the enlisted member.
